Uline’s continued growth in Kenosha County has made the company’s Wisconsin warehouse campus one of the most closely watched logistics developments in the region. With millions of square feet of distribution space already in operation and additional expansion underway, these facilities reflect the scale, speed, and performance demands of modern warehouse construction.

Multi-Panels Inc. supplied approximately 60,000 square feet of 3/4" NOCOM Structural Cement Subfloor for use within mezzanine and elevated platform areas. The product was supplied through Badgerland Supply and installed in Q1 2025.
For a high-volume distribution environment, these interior platform areas require materials that can support demanding construction conditions while helping project teams maintain schedule, consistency, and long-term performance.

Supporting Large-Scale Warehouse Construction
Warehouse and distribution facilities of this size depend on efficient sequencing and dependable material performance. Mezzanines, elevated platforms, and internal operational areas often require structural subfloor systems that can perform across steel framing, coordinate with fire-rated assemblies, and allow construction teams to keep moving without unnecessary delays.
That made NOCOM a strong fit for this application. NOCOM is a dry-installed structural panel designed for use in commercial floor assemblies where strength, fire performance, dimensional stability, and constructability matter. Because it does not require cure time, it can help support faster installation sequencing compared to poured gypsum and wet-applied systems, while providing the tested performance characteristics needed for demanding commercial environments.

Why NOCOM Was Selected
For this type of warehouse application, key considerations often include:
Structural performance over steel framing
Compatibility with fire-rated assembly requirements
Noncombustible material performance
Dimensional stability in active construction environments
Efficient installation without cure-time delays
Consistent performance across large interior platform areas
NOCOM Structural Subfloor is commonly used in mezzanine and elevated floor applications where project teams need a panelized system that balances jobsite efficiency with proven performance.
Built for Demanding Commercial Environments
Large-scale logistics buildings place significant demands on every material used inside them. Interior platforms and mezzanine systems must be able to support active use, coordinate with the building’s fire and structural requirements, and perform reliably long after installation.
For Multi-Panels, this project is a strong example of where NOCOM fits best: commercial and industrial environments where performance, consistency, and ease of construction all matter.
A High-Profile Wisconsin Warehouse Project
Uline’s Kenosha-area growth has received significant attention, including the opening of what has been described as Wisconsin’s largest warehouse and one of the largest in the country. Within that broader logistics footprint, Multi-Panels is proud to have supported a major Uline warehouse project with NOCOM Structural Subfloor for critical mezzanine and elevated platform areas.
From multifamily and modular construction to commercial, industrial, and warehouse applications, NOCOM continues to provide builders with a proven structural subfloor solution for projects where fire performance, speed, and durability are essential.
